New England States Special Net 1NESADS1
The purpose of the 1NESADS1 net is to foster communications between SMD, SEC, and affiliate members.
The 1NES01 net will meet on the ( First and Third Wednesday ) of the month starting Right after the 1S1 evening net at (0100Z) and the ending time shall be semi-dynamic in that if there is no further business for the net (after 0130Z) the NCS has the option of closing the net, or if there is a significant amount of mars business still to be conducted the net will continue no later then( 0200Z); there will be regular net calls every 15 to 30 minutes. The primary frequency will be RB
The format of the net shall be as follows:
The first part of the net will be for SMD or SEC to communicate information to there respective affiliates.
The second part of the net shall be conducted by poling the affiliates to ascertain what training topic they may be interested in, i.e. EEI reports, digital modes, etc. The NCS, SMD or SEC can request a specific training or topic they feel takes precedence if they have requested net time during the NCS, SMD and SEC comments or bulletins part of the net.
The length of the first and second session shall be dictated by the amount of information that needs to be addressed or the amount of traffic that needs to be sent.
So as you can see this is not only a region net but it is also training net. The first session of 1NESADS1 was held on 01-Jun-05, the first Wednesday in June.
